Make sure you have DOSUP9 from Novell (ftp.novell.com),
and the latest 1.0b(6) of winsock.

Nikki-
This was very helpful, thank you!
I still have a related question, if anyone can understand it:
even though I have added all the hosts I typically connect to in the
"terminal" window (i.e. their names are listed there to be "clicked")
they are not all connectable when I do a mail-check in the mail program. I
get an error message like:
"unable to connect to POP3 server!"
should the places it checks for mail be in a file similar to qvtnet.rc? if
so, what should the file be called and how should it be formatted?
Thanks
Terra

You can get the 1.0b(6) from biochemistry.bioc.cwru.edu. Speaking
of the source, may be you can tell me where I can find the source.
Thanks

Subject: Goslip and tcpman.exe
Does anyone know how to combine the goslip.ini and tcpman.ini so tcpman.exe
will actually connect with their local slip server. I've already tweaked the
trumpet auto dial scrypt, no problem there. But I would really like to be able
to let goslip take over my auto logins. This is both a matter of personal
achievement and practicality:trumpet dosen't support auto redial and my server
is getting very crowded. It would be nice to be able to not have to ride the
<esc> key for twenty minutes every time I try to login.
One other ?. Can anyone suggest their favorite Irc address(server)> I'm not a
big IRC habitue, But it would be nice to at least get the app to work.
Thanks for any help/suggestions.
-Tim

That would probably be because WSGopher GPFs, and does not call WSACleanup
(kind of like dying and forgetting to cancel the phone service :-)
I am aware of this problem; I was out of state last week on business, and
didn't get it fixed before I left. I plan to do that now.

Right; this used to work, but I managed to break that just before release
time. It will be fixed.
